Travel Note

It is very important to arrive on time. The letter states to arrive at 9:30 am but this means for the group to be at the terminal doors at 9:30 am. We ask for everyone to arrive at the port with enough time to find parking, check in regular cruise luggage and make their way over to the terminal. Everyone should have their ID’s and boarding passes handy when they get to the terminal doors
BOARDING PROCEDURES GALVESTON, TEXAS These procedures have been prepared to help ensure your wedding day embarkation is a smooth and easy experience for you and your guests. Please arrive at the port no later than 9:30 a.m. This applies to all guests as well. Carnival Cruise Lines has prepared a wedding check in desk for your convenience, and to expedite the check in of your guests, both sailing and non-sailing. It is located downstairs at the entrance to the terminal. All non-sailing guests must have their driver’s license or passport, or security will not allow them to board the vessel. This is a Coast Guard regulation, and there are no exceptions. All non-sailing children must have a birth certificate or a passport to obtain a visitor’s pass. Please be aware that there may be traffic due to passengers disembarking. The Port police have made provisions to allow all bridal parties to proceed to baggage drop off. Non-sailing guests will be directed to the short-term parking facilities. The fee is $14.00. It is imperative you tell the police you are at the port for a wedding, so they may direct you to an expedited lane. For sailing guests, after checking your bags, you will be directed to park your car in long-term parking
VALID FORMS OF ID • Valid U.S. Passport • Passport Card • Original or legible copy of a Birth Certificate (issued by the Department of Vital Statistics) • Certificate of Naturalization • Enhanced Driver's License • Trusted Traveler Program Membership Card (i.e. Nexus Card, Sentri Card or Fast Card) • A Consular Report of Birth Abroad • Copies of the following will NOT be allowed: 1. US Passports 2. Naturalization Papers • Originals, or copies will NOT be allowed: 1. Baptismal Certificates 2. Hospital issued "Certificate of Birth”
Ship Deck Plans: If you wish to walk around the ship before the ceremony please make sure you save these to your phone to ensure you arrive back to the venue on time. The wedding Venue is the Havana Bar deck 8 across from Chibang
Non Sailing Guest: A boarding pass will be emailed to you three days prior to the wedding. You will need to print it and bring it with you along with valid ID or you will be denied boarding.
Priority boarding is provided for the couple, as well as all their guests. The time to board theships is controlled by US Customs and Immigration. No one is allowed to board until U.S.Customs and Immigration has cleared the ship. U.S. Customs and Immigration have increasedsecurity measures; therefore, you may experience increased delays in boarding. The shipboarding time is normally between 11:30 and 12:30 p.m. Please be patient

*If any of your guests need wheelchair assistance, please make sure they bring their own because Carnival wheelchairs are being used to debark and are very difficult to secure.*
• Non-sailing guests must bring a form of picture ID, such as a drivers license, passport, birth certificate or school ID (for children) in order to board the ship. Anyone who does not have ID will be denied boarding.
Food Served: Roast beef with Horseradish Cream, Marinated Scallops in Rice Paper, Shrimp Rolls in Crispy Philo, Lobster Roll in Butter Bun, Fried Shrimp with Pineapple Ketchup, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Mini Beef and Cheddar Burger, Crispy Pulled Pork Pattie with Habanero Slaw.
• We strongly suggest all sailing guests have their “Fun Pass” completed prior to the day of the wedding in order to expedite the check-in process.
Photos: We ask that you please refrain from taking any photos or videos with your cell phone or camera you brought from home during the Ceremony. We will have a photographer and videographer present to capture these precious moments.

Guest Attire Ladies: Dusty blue, Silver. Gentlemen: Hawaiian Style Shirt & Khakis *** Please wear comfy shoes we will be doing lots of walking!** -You may bring a bag to hold any documentation, cell phones & a change of shoes. Please note you will be going through security.
• Due to U.S. Customs regulations, guests are asked NOT to bring wedding gifts onboard the ship.
Sailing Guest: Please try to refrain from brining any carry on. It is recommended you check all luggage because you will have to carry it around during the wedding and reception.
We ask that you and your guests, sailing and non-sailing, arrive to the cruise terminal at 9:30 am. Please note you will NOT board the ship at this time. (Arriving late may result in loss of priority boarding.) Sailing and non sailing guests must arrive to the Pier dressed for the wedding. Only the bride and groom can get dressed onboard the ship. Brides must come with hair and makeup done as there may or may not be time to do this once onboard.

We will have a buffet of food and an open bar at the reception
