Our Story

The best thing about our relationship, is our deep friendship with each other! Over the past 3 years, there has been so much laughter and delightfulness in our union. God definitely set a divine appointment on 07/07! When we met for the 1st time at church, it was definitely interesting "smiles at first sight"! We look forward in continuing our smlies at each other for a lifetime!!!

Mari: When Erwin proposed in Puerto Rico during a family vacation, I became so ecstatic. I rushed the next day to tell my dad while he was making scrambled eggs and he was excited as well! The next morning, I was walking on "cloud nine" and literally began telling the beautiful news of how Erwin proposed. He created a big book of our journey together with characters that reflect us with interesting tidbits of our relationship. He hid the ring inside the near the ending of the book. And near the end as I was reading, there was simply the cliffhanger question of "Will you marry me?" And of course, I knew the ending of the 1st installment of our love story, which was simply "YES!"

Erwin: When I first saw Maritza, she looked like an angel dressed in white. Her big puppy innocent eyes simply drew me to her!
