Tia's Version: Loren usually has his hair in a long braid and one of my best friend's Sophie decided to pull it, TWICE. Well he turned around and saw me smiling and assumed that it was me. We stayed by each other througout the concert and then as we were leaving he pulled my hair and said something like "my turn". We didn't see each other again until later that night at the beer gardens (very romantic). Well we started talking and there was something special and different about him. We talked the whole night and when it was time to go and I asked if he wanted my number.

I don't know what it was when I first met him but I thought he was interesting and funny and someone worth getting to know. Later that week he asked me out and I was a little nervous. I remember talking to another good friend Tamara and she was like "Tia, you don't have to marry the boy. Just go out, have a good time and see where it goes"...well it went pretty well and I think it's the smartest thing I've done to date.

Loren's Version: After being seperated from the rest of my friends at the concert, I found myself stuck in the middle of the crowd, and it just so happened that Tia was right behind me. I felt someone tug my hair and after looking back and seeing Tia's pretty smile I assumed it was her (or maybe I just wanted it to be her). I knew she was special right from the start, and continued to try and impress her the rest of the concert. We met up later at the beer gardens and continued to talk.

After that night we kept in touch, she was in Minot and I was in Dickinson. I couldn't wait to see her again, and so I invited her to my Grandparents Cabin in New Town which was right in the middle (I later realized I may have been a little overzealous, because introducing Tia to my family on a first date was a little awkward), but it all worked out. We met up every weekend after that and here we are today.

August 13, 2010 - Wedding and Reception Day

Location of Wedding/Reception:

The Reef Resturant at Vilano Beach, Florida (north of St Augustine) It will be a brief, 30-45min, beach wedding followed directly by the reception in the same location. The Reef Restaurant

Official Hotel:

We'll be staying at the HAMPTON INN & SUITES@VILANO BEACH. Which is approx 10mins from The Reef Restaurant.
You can now make your reservations for Thursday (rehearsal dinner), Friday and Saturday at a cost of $129.00 per night. You can get a room with one king size bed and a pull out coach or a room with two queen size beds and a pull of coach. The cost is the same.

All you need is a credit card or a visa/master card debit card. NOTHING WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CARD! You just are reserving your room at that price. The reception will take place at the Reef Restaurant 10 minutes from the hotel. The hotel details are 95 Vilano Road - St. Augustine, FL 32084.

Loose Itienary:

Friday- There will be a bus that will take you from the Hampton Inn to the Reef and back again for the wedding/reception.

Saturday- Contiential Breakfast served at the hotel (comes with room fee); after breakfast you can take a complementary bus to downtown historic St Augustine, Florida (it's an air condition bus provided by the Red Train). You will get a customized personalized tour for the wedding party, after which everyone is free to do as they please, sight see, shop, etc.

The bus will go back to the hotel around 3 pm in case you want to freshen up before dinner and take you back downtown for dinner. Then around 4 pm we will all meet up at Barnacle Bill's Seafood Resturant for dinner. After which the bus will then take us back to the Hampton Inn where we can continue to enjoy the night.

-Option 2:

Is to hang out at the beachside hotel, and then meet up later at Barnacle Bill's. The bus will come back to the hotel around 4pm to take them (and anyone who returned from downtown) to the resturant. Barnacle Bills Restaurant

Sunday: Contiential Breakfast at the hotel in the morning followed by checkout, unless you want to enjoy a few more days at the beach!

The whole affair is casual so come relaxed and comfortable. We want to just have a good time with family and close friends.
