We both met on the beach at a Luau while vacationing with our friends in Hawaii at the. All night he kept looking over at me. I noticed his beautiful eyes staring right at me. He smiled and I smiled back, nervously. He started walking over towards us and he introduced himself. Then he started making my girlfriends laugh and that's when I thought that he was a joke. He was trying to be "suave" and charming, trying to win over my friends' approval. I got a little snippy with him and told him to go bug someone else. Later that night my friends had told me how he thought I was so beautiful and how there was something different and special about me. That whole night I felt bad. I thought I would never see him again and if I did, he would just think I was a big snob. Well, the next morning my girlfriends and I went to relax on the beach. Sure enough, he was there with his friends. He actually came walking over with a smile. I remember getting up and meeting him half way to apologize, just as he did. Later that night we went out for a nice dinner and after that we were inseparable! Luckily and thankfully, we only lived an hour away from each other. Here we are now, 5 years later!
