From Mom: To my wonderful daughter,
You have been my "Sunshine". It has been a complete joy to raise you and see you become a beautiful woman. I'm so glad you found Tyler. I wish you happiness and to have children and that you will know the happiness I've known as a Mom! I love you !!! To Tyler,
I'm so glad you met Jessica. It is so wonderful to see her happy and to have met such a nice guy!! I wish you lots of happiness and love, more than you can imagine!!!! I am proud to call you my son in law! From Kelly: Jessica, where to start.... I am so grateful to be part of your life. From the time you labeled your dresser drawers with pictures to better organize your clothes (at 5 years old), to becoming an RN; I knew that you would always march to the beat of your own drum... which you did.... quite well I may add; especially in band. You've thrown yourself into every interest and challenge with the same drive with which you threw pitches at batters; usually with the same result: success. Looking back, I wouldn't trade a single late-night batting practice, all weekend softball tournament, winning the Florida State All-Stars in rec. ball, taking you to vote for the first time, or one second of teaching you how to drive(you really didn't scare me that much....ok learning to dodge potholes was a "little" unnerving). Through all the vacations, silly car rides, movies, and a million other little moments; I am so happy that we have become so close over the years; you are truly a blessing to me. As you prepare to mark the next milestone in your life, may you do so as the same competent compassionate (well, we will think of your relationship with Max and leave out the hamster body count!), drive, wonderful human being whom I have grown to truly love and respect. I wish you all the joy, happiness, and love that this world has to offer. Tyler, you are a good man and, in the time that I have gotten to know you, you have shown Jessica: deference, compassion, loyalty, trust and a wonderful sense of sentimentality. I trust, as you move forward to the next phase of your lives together that you will always remember that the friendship and love which is the foundation of your bond will serve to help ground both of you, guide your decisions, enable you to navigate the wonderful experience that is marriage, and bring you nothing but a loving, rewarding, long, and happy life together. Also…most importantly…. Be nice to my princess or…well…refer to the fate of the hamsters above :) |
