At the end of September 2016, we took a trip to Manhattan, New York. Ted was flying there to speak at a conference for Legalshield and he invited me to join him knowing that I had always wanted to explore the Big Apple!

After work was done, it was time for play! We saw many famous landmarks including Rockefeller plaza, Statue of Liberty, Times Square, 9/11 museum and more.
During our stay, Ted mentioned that Central Park offered horse carriage rides. Being an adventurer and animal lover at heart, I couldn’t deny this experience! Finding our way to Central Park was a fun adventure in itself but all worth it.
The carriage driver took us to several locations for pictures with gorgeous views! One place required a small hike (did not expect to do that in heels!) - I later learned the funny twist to the story here =P

Just before the sun went down, we arrived at Bow Bridge which is supposed to resemble an Archer's bow and is one of the most photographed and filmed locations for it's romantic setting. As we approached the highest point of the bridge, the sunset and tall city buildings in the distance were just amazing.... Next thing I know, Ted was on one knee and proposed! -- I SAID...YES!
