We're getting married!
JuDonna Bennett and Baron McClung

Who would have guessed two people so different would come as one? Our story is simple yet at times so unbelievable. We meet in December 2023 on a dating app, YES! You read that right a dating app (BLK) I am not sure how long the message from Baron had been sitting in my inbox, but one day I read it, called him and we literally talked every day since. I didn't know at the time that he worked over nights and was sacrificing his sleep to stay up talking to me in the mornings. It didn't take long before Baron made it clear that he wanted me to be his woman and see where our relationship would go. Although every day has not great, we continue to find a way to at least make them good!
We took our first trip together for my 50th birthday to Vegas and at the end of that night Baron proposed to me on my birthday in April, I was in shocked and full of tears. From that day to this day, we both knew that we might get on each other’s last nerves (I must borrow an extra nerve sometimes) LOL! That we would rather do life together than apart. Although we originally wanted our wedding date to me on Baron's mother’s birthday in August (hence why we chose an August wedding cruise) we later found out that we could have our ceremony at Sea but need to be married at least 60 days prior, so things changed rapidly as we were already in motion of planning. We were reaching for my grandmother’s birthday for our weeding date in May, later to find out that her birthday is the deadline date for our wedding paperwork. So, we just decided to get married on Valentines Day!
We understand and respect that everyone is not able to join us at sea, so we are having a celebration right here in Minnesota on June 21, 2025, in hopes that everyone that can and will join us for a night of fun, laughs, food and gifts!
In truth, we are still building and growing together as one! What both of us are true to is that neither one of us are perfect, but we are perfect together. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we continue our journey together. We appreciate the love and support!
