Our Story

My friend called me one day and I answered to hear a question that I never thought I would say yes to...Would you go on a blind with one of my friends. My first thought was no way I don't do blind dates, until I found out it was someone I knew from high school. Scared to say yes, I answered with a feeling inside that maybe I should live a little....Sure I am willing to give it a try.
Chris contacted me soon after to make plans for our "blind date". For the next few days we texted each other like we were teenagers again. We had dinner at the avenue that next Friday.
As I walked to the avenue all I kept saying was, why are you so nervous, you have talked to him a 1,000 times before but they didn't count. This was it. As he walked up I began to get excited. We walked the avenue and talked before dinner. We really hit it off. I felt so comfortable.
As the night came to an end, we stood outside in the moonlight talking or buying time (as I see it now). I was thinking so do we kiss, hug, or shake hands. Wait nobody does that. My mind was going a mile a minute when all of a sudden, Chris grabbed my face and kissed me like I had never been kissed before.
CHRISTINA- I felt like I was on cloud 9. The connection that went through my body was like no other. At that point, I knew if he was going to kiss me like that for the rest of my life then he was a keeper.
CHRIS – I was terribly nervous almost to the point of fainting. I must have waited 5 minutes before I had to meet her to get out of the car. When I started walking my knees were knocking but when I saw her standing waiting for me I knew. I thought she looked amazing all of my nerves and scary feelings had gone away. After the first word she said I knew she was the one.
Now, 1 ВЅ years later I am marrying the man that completes me and still to this day grabs my face, kisses me and now says I Love You everyday before he leaves.
