When I graduated school and started my first "real" job at Alverno I could have never imagine how it would change my life. Meanwhile somewhere in Indiana was Mike and Jenny. Apparently Mike had mentioned he wanted to find someone and asked Jenny if she had any single friends. However Jenny was out of single friends so she went to the next best thing. Strangers and coworkers lol. One day I came into work and Jenny was there kinda starting at me. The next thing I know I'm getting called over to talk to Jenny, which was weird because we never really talked. Then the questions started, how old are you and are you single. The next day I again get called over to Jenny where she tells me I'm going to hook you up with my friend Mike. I tell her I'm good and being single is fine, where she tells me nooo I'm going to hook you up with my friend Mike. She proceeds to tell me he's 26, an engineer, he has a harley, and insurance.... I thought umm ok where does insurance come into play but ok. This goes on for a couple days and I finally say ok fine. Which she tells me good I've already given him your number. So Mike and I start texting over the next few days and finally had our first date for Jenny's birthday. I tend to get lost so I didn't want to drive to Chicago, so I asked if I could meet him half way. He says sure (although it totally wasn't half way!) and we start our drive to Howl at the Moon. We continue to talk and get to know one another. As we arrive in Chicago at Jenny's designated time we realize not only is Jenny not here yet but Howl at the Moon isn't even open! Soo we went to walk around to find some food. Somehow perhaps by my suggestion we end up at Ruth Chris' Steakhouse. We had a great dinner and finally meet up with Jenny and the rest of the gang. It was a great first date, and the rest is history.
