We'll take a tour of the famous Arenal Volcano, and also visit hot springs and rainforests in the area. I'm sure we'll get some amazing photos of the wildlife (sloths!) and gorgeous surrounding scenery.

We can't wait to dive into the warm ocean water. Aside from relaxing on the beach and sunbathing, we'd like to explore the coast and rivers on kayak, get a glimpse of life under the sea by snorkeling, and get adventurous with our first ever surfing lesson!

We'll take advantage of one of the many opportunities in Costa Rica to tour a rainforest canopy while suspended from a zip line. Should be a lot of fun!

We are opting to stay in Airbnb/VRBO-type lodging for most of our trip, rather than hotels. We look forward to relaxing with a glass of wine on our veranda with views of either the ocean or the rainforest canopies.

We look forward to trying the local cuisine - not to mention the mojitos! So many good choices, so little time.

Help us get to Costa Rica and back! If anything is left over we'll use it for ground transportation on our trip.
