From San Lucas we will fly to the Philippines. While there we will have a wedding with Sarah's extended family. Doug and Beth(Sarah's parents) met in the Philippines and Started Future and Hope Ministry based on Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. We plan on staying for a year to get away from western culture and learn to embrace a simplistic lifestyle, trusting in God and starting fresh. Strengthening our faith by watching the the Holy Spirit move in the church there. Our time in the Philippines will be spent soaking in The Word, writing music, learning the language and building relationships. As their faith strengthens ours we hope to give back by contributing our gifts and talents into the church. If God blesses us with this opportunity, it will be a stepping stone into lives fully devout to the will of God, reaching out to the lost and proclaiming the name of Christ. Transportation Cost will be about $5,000 dollars. includes Airplane from San Lucas to Phil, International Flight and Gas for car ride from airport to Tibanban and other traveling expenses.

We will be staying for 1 week to help wrap up ten years of labor and ministry at Oasis in San Lucas Guatemala with a group from the Ballard Baptist Church. Oasis is a community for young girls who have suffered abuse. At Oasis they attend school, Church, and live in house groups with other girls and a house leader. As a group we will be constructing the last building, as well as some painting and roof  work.   Total Cost Per Person is App. $3,000 which includes plane tickets, building materials, food, etc.
