We will take our need for speed to new heights on this thrilling zipline and Akaka Falls adventure. We will enjoy a relaxing drive through Saddle Road with views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on our way to the most beautiful falls on Hawaii. Covering nearly two miles of gorgeous tropical river gorges, this 8-line zip course promises views of different waterfalls as we soar over 160 feet above them. Certified staff will guide us over one of the longest lines on Hawaii Island at more than 2,400 feet in length. We will ride the only all side-by-side dual track zipline on Hawaii. Afterwards we will enjoy a picnic deli style lunch. Next, we will take a scenic drive along the Hamakua Coast to Akaka Falls. We will explore Akaka Falls before returning to Kona.

On our Hawaiian honeymoon we will discover both the Big Island's beauty and its volcanic fury. We will tour the most geologically active environment on earth - the famous Kilauea volcano, which has been continuously erupting since 1983. On this helicopter adventure we will view lava flows and black sand beaches. We will experience all the awesome spectacle of Madame Pele's lava and volcanic badlands, and then explore the lush rainforests of the Hamakua Coast. The towering sea cliffs open into the dramatically deep and meandering valleys of the Kohala Mountains. Beautiful waterfalls cascade thousands of feet into the rainforest below and remnants of ancient Hawaiian settlements are still visible. We will begin the tour with a wonderful drive of contrast and change from the dry-side resort area to the lush green country of Kohala. Along the way we'll journey up the North Kona and Kohala coastlines over lava flows from Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and the Kohala Mountains. We'll pass through the quaint plantation towns of Hawi and Kapaau, site of the life-size statue of King Kamehameha. At the end of the road we will pass through a locked gate onto private property, and the real fun begins with a bumpy but short off-road drive in our 6WD Pinzgauer on an old cane road.

We will journey from sea level to the cosmos! On this adventure we will witness a sunset from Hawaii's most sacred location, Mauna Kea, amid its largest collection of telescopes on earth. We will enjoy a picnic dinner that precedes a sunset view of Haleakala on Maui and Mauna Loa. After the sunset, we’ll descend to the Visitor's Information Station for hot beverages and chocolate macadamia nut cookies. A telescope waits for star gazing, and an interpretive guide offers a personal and educational look at the observable universe.

We will night snorkel with the Manta Rays! This experience will definitely amaze us as we watch manta rays come inches from our body. Seeing them during the day is great, but as we see them at night they are feeding on all the plankton that has been drawn to lights. Once dark, we will begin our journey with these amazing creatures!
