As new found cricket lovers, Jeff and Sarah would love to see a cricket match in Melbourne during the Boxing Day celebrations. Australia vs New Zealand! Nothing better than a full 48 hour cricket match!

You can't go to Australia without paying homage to THE Crocodile Hunter himself. Unfortunately Steve Irwin is no longer with us (RIP), but we can view the legacy he left behind. This half day trip includes guided walking tours through naturally, preserved habitats, views of koalas, sea turtles, and more, as well as a cruise through Hartley's Lagoon. To finish this wonderful crocodile adventure, a special feeding takes place, open to the tour members!

Nearby the city of Cairns, is a natural rainforest, and is considered a World Heritage Site. Here, cassowaries and other exotic animals roam free. A trip to this rainforest would include a guide and a pair of binoculars.

We love Dairyland, and we haven't even been there! Jeff better not forget his heartburn pills, because this is a cheese and ice cream hot spot! Gallo Dairyland manufactures their own yogurt, cheese, and ice cream, among other things. What more could a honeymoon ask for than stopping by a local creamery and taste testing Australian flavors? I hope they have Vegemite flavored ice cream!

Kangaroos are seen as a nuisance to locals, but Jeff and Sarah see them as adorable, kickboxing, jumping cats. If there is any place to see them, it is Australia, in their natural habitat. There is a nearby kangaroo and joey farm in Cairns that is just waiting to be visited!

There's no greater bonding experience than a two person kayak trip. Good thing we have already experienced that. For this trip, we are wanting to take a guided morning tour the Hobart Harbor, Sandy Bay, and Battery Point. We love kayaking (just in separate kayaks)!

ProDive Cairns provides a three day/two night diving adventure on the Great Barrier Reef! The boat is fully catered and has plenty of amenities. Our trip will have 11 dives, including 2 night dives! We will have our own cabin and all the gear we need is provided. This trip has been a lifelong dream for the both of us and we are so excited to make it happen!

For Christmas one year, Jeff made Sarah a world map with all the locations in the world marked with "Sarah" in its name. Off the coast of Tasmania, is the one and only Sarah Island! This island held one of the many prisons known in Australia, and it was also the most extreme. This trip would be an all day cruise from Strahan which tours around the harbor, including making a stop at Sarah Island!

Jeff and Sarah always enjoy a good wine, and even more, the story behind it. Australia is known for many things, and wine is one of them. We look forward to tasting our way around the island, including the Moorilla Winery outside of Hobart, Tasmania.

Wherever Sarah and Jeff go, they make it a point to visit all of the local zoos, museums, and parks. Australia will be no different! From Cairns (adjacent to two World Heritage Areas) to Tasmania (home to the Tasmanian devil) Jeff and Sarah would love to visit as many exciting local places as possible on their trip.

Cairns, Australia is on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef. Here will be our home base for all of our snorkeling and diving adventures. Additionally, Cairns is home to many of Australia tropical species and boarders not one, but two, World Heritage Areas. We will be in Cairns for six days and six nights, but will only spend four nights in a hotel and the rest on the liveaboard boat.

We plan on being in Melbourne, Australia for four days and four nights. Melbourne is the most southern major city on mainland Australia and our final destination in our trip. Cold beer, fish markets, and a view of the Southern Ocean. We'll also stop by the Melbourne Zoo, which is the third oldest zoo in the entire world!

Home to the famed tasmanian devil, Tasmania is a small island off the southern coast of Australia. We will be staying in Hobart, the largest city in Tasmania for three nights and four days. Home to wineries and museums, Hobart is a beautiful destination in the Southern Ocean. While we're there, we plan on driving to Mount Wellington and kayaking in Sandy Bay. We're excited!

Australia is well known for their wines! Syrah (shiraz), cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, ect. We're excited to try them all!

If you know one thing about Sarah and Jeff, its their love of all things food. Australia has wonderful food that we are excited to try! Australia has exotic seafood, perfect for "firing up the barbie". Did you know that one of Australia's largest exports was beef? We're also going to try Vegemite, I'm sure you'll hear all about it.

We look forward to reserving an intimate candlelit dinner. We'll choose a quiet restaurant with a warm atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.

Sarah and Jeff love to share pieces of their adventures with their friends and family when they get home. Food, postcards, and magnets are the typical fare. Who wouldn't want a kangaroo magnet?

As a part of our journey, we would like to visit Tasmania. A flight from Melbourne, Australia to Hobart, Tasmania would put us in the middle of "devil's country". Hobart is Tasmania's largest city, and is home to the University of Tasmania's Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies. We will fly out New Years Eve and take part in the "Tastes of Tasmania" food festival in Hobart on New Years Day.

Taxi's in Hobart are expensive! That's why while we're there, we'll be driving. A rental car in Hobart will help us get around to the variety of fun activities Tasmania has to offer! Maybe we'll see some wombats on the way. Pictures incoming.

While we are on mainland Australia, we'll be in both Cairns and Melbourne. We are hoping to stay close to all of our activities and walk as much as possible, however, there is limited public transportation. For example, the airport in Melbourne is 22 km away from the city center, and a taxi is $70. While not a glamorous gift, this is a pragmatic one.

With your lovely wedding gift, we will experience a romantic and special honeymoon! We will begin our new lives together and enjoy each other's company while creating unforgettable honeymoon memories. It's our happily ever after and we thank you for making our honeymoon extraordinary!

Going to Australia in the dead of summer is not only going to be hot, but it's also going to be HOT. That's why we are asking for some basic paraphernalia to help with the heat of the sun! Sunblock is a must! As well as bug spray for when we head to the Daintree Rainforest (there are mosquitoes, 300 species to be exact), sunhats, a travel pillow (or two), and water, lots and lots of water!
