How unique to have an authentic Fijian Drummer set the beat at our island wedding.

Kava is Fiji's national drink - made from ground powdered roots, prepared by the locals in a special wooden kava bowl then smaller bowls are passed around in a circle. We can't wait to take part in this social pastime and cultural tradition.

We are going to be lucky enough to see some of the most beautiful diving spots in the world. We can experience black coral, caves, and exotic fish life. We may even see some small reef sharks, dolphins, and sea turtles swim by.

Our own luxurious bure is tucked away in the coconut trees, just a few meters back from the beach. Our bure is elegantly finished with rattan and bamboo and decorated with colorful splashes of fabric and works of local art.

Cheers! We'll toast to our new life together as we uncork the effervescence of a bottle of champagne.

We can't wait to share a romantic dinner under the stars on our Private Veranda. We'll stare into each others eyes while being serenaded by natures tropical breezes and be served by our own private waiter. How romantic!

We can't think of a better way to begin our stay at Beqa Lagoon Resort than with a bottle of Champagne and tropical fruit waiting for us in our bure upon arrival.

We would love some private time with a picnic on a secluded white sandy beach. This is the perfect way for us to enjoy some time alone!

We want to capture our honeymoon moments forever. We'll bring plenty of film since these photo`s will reflect memories that will last a lifetime.

Plenty of time will be spent in the sun, so we won't let the rays ruin our perfect trip. Sunscreens and lotions will soothe and protect our skin.

We'll need sunglasses that provide 100% UVA and UVB protection. We'll look cool and feel even cooler!

The closest place in Fiji to get our wedding license is Sava. Thanks for your help with this very important part of our wedding.

We will be adorned with a Salu Salu - a traditional Fijian Lei for two.

Inspired by the tropical surroundings, we chose a fragrant floral head garland for our special day.

With its peace and quiet, pristine natural surroundings, and a relaxing massage in our own bure, Beqa Lagoon is a portrait of paradise.

This scrumptious wedding cake will be our first dessert as man and wife!
